Ladies Auxiliary to Cantigny Post #367

Making stuffed toys and animals for children at Silver Cross Hospital is a very rewarding experience for members of the Ladies Auxiliary. The ladies lovingly contributed over 1,000 animals over the past year for use in many areas.

The Ladies Auxiliary also provides stuffed animals for the Silver Cross Hospital Emergency Department to be used to calm or reward children under trauma conditions and in Radiology, Respiratory Care, Laboratory, and Diagnostic testing areas. With more than 800 members, Post #367  (http://www.vfwwebcom.org/il/post367) is the largest in Illinois. These mothers, wives, sisters, daughters and granddaughters of veterans who served overseas during wartime continue to serve their community in many categories. Other projects include supporting cancer aid and research, veteran hospitals plus mailing packages for our men and women overseas.
