Silver Cross Employees Climb Chicago’s Willis Tower to Raise Funds for Rehabilitation Research
Joliet, IL (December 15, 2010) — Employees from the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) at Silver Cross Hospital participated in the Second Annual SkyRise Chicago event by raising over $2,300 and climbing all 103 flights of stairs in the Willis Tower. This event will fuel RIC’s cutting-edge patient care and innovative rehabilitation research, offering thousands of adults and children the greatest hope for the future.
The Second Annual SkyRise Chicago held Nov. 14 drew more than 2,500 participants from 39 states and six countries. The Silver Cross team included Kathi Anderson, Pat Baumgartner, Matt Boebel, Amy Davisson, Jaime Holzhauser, Meagan Kelly, Kathy Jones, Sam Swanson, Sheila VanDuyne, Krista Yock, Jennifer Zolp and Dongina Knight.

The Silver Cross group raised over $2,300 which was added to the overall total of more than $1 million that was raised to benefit rehabilitation research.
The overall SkyRise top climber reached the 103rd floor in 13:46 minutes! The top 5 climbers of the RIC at Silver Cross team included: Jennifer Zolp: 25:43 (minutes: seconds), Matt Boebel: 27:34, Jaime Holzhauser: 28:25, Meagan Kelly: 33:01, Krista Yock: 35:16.
