Silver Cross Executive Named to United Cerebral Palsy of Will County Board of Directors
Joliet, IL (Dec. 21, 2010)— Larry Johnson has been appointed to the United Cerebral Palsy of Will County Board of Directors.
Johnson is the Vice President of the Silver Cross Foundation in Joliet. He is responsible for securing financial support from generous benefactors to help underwrite the programs and services provided by Silver Cross Hospital.

He has been a teacher and principal at both the grammar and high school levels and has worked over 20 years in the field of institutional advancement. Prior to joining Silver Cross, he served the Field Museum of Natural History, Saint Xavier University and Loyola University and Medical Center in the area of Institutional Advancement.
His lectures at institutions such as Rosary University, National Lewis University, George Williams College and University of Wisconsin have covered an array of topics including: education, development, leadership, sales/marketing and training.
As a volunteer, Johnson is also a board member for the FranCenter of Darien. He is a former board member of the Career Transition Center of Chicago and is past President of the Joliet Rotary Club. He is an Easter Seals and United Way volunteer and has served on the Joliet Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School for several years.
