Silver Cross Hospital Employee Accomplishments and Promotions
Joliet, IL (February 22, 2011) — Plainfield resident Courtney McKibben, R.N., M.S.N., has accepted the position of Trauma Center Program Coordinator. She has worked at Silver Cross Hospital for six years as an Emergency Department staff nurse, Emergency Department Clinical Educator, and co-chair of the Hospital’s Stroke Committee. Also, she brings to Silver Cross an additional 11 years of experience in oncology, intensive care, emergency and trauma nursing care.
New Lenox resident Marilyn Paolella, R.N., has been promoted to Director of Maternal/Child Care overseeing the Silver Cross Birthing Center and pediatrics/medical surgical care. Previously, she was a Clinical Educator for the Birthing Center and pediatric departments and has worked for Silver Cross Hospital for 31 years.
Plainfield resident Lonnie Polhemus, R.N., was appointed to Manager of Silver Cross EMS System (formerly Will-Grundy EMS System). He will oversee the operations and management of the EMS Department for Silver Cross Hospital, which serves as the Resource Hospital for the Silver Cross EMS System. He has worked at Silver Cross for two years. Previously, Polhemus worked as a nurse, paramedic, EMT and instructor throughout Will County.
Joliet resident Margaret Rodeghero, R.N., has accepted the position of Director of Medical Affairs overseeing the operations of the Medical Staff Office and collaboration with physicians on various projects. Previously, she was Director of Safety and Quality Management and has worked at Silver Cross Hospital for 20 years.
