New Lenox, IL (March 21, 2013)— Silver Cross Hospital provides an AHA Healthcare Provider CPR class for LPNs, RNs, Paramedics, EMTs, and CNAs. This class teaches one and two person, infant, child and adult CPR as well as rescue from choking. Girl Scouts Troup Delivers Blankets to Newborns at Silver Cross Hospital
New Lenox, IL (March 20, 2013) —Members from Girl Scouts Troup #359 in New Lenox, delivered handmade blankets to Silver Cross Hospital to be given to newborn babies born at the hospital’s Birthing Center. The Girl Scouts handmade the fleece blankets as part of their community service project. During this same visit, the girls also participated in a first aid class to learn the basics of providing initial care for an illness or injury.
