7 Physicians Join Silver Cross Medical Staff
New Lenox, IL (March 26, 2013) — Paul Crossan, M.D., radiation oncology and board certified radiation physician, has joined the Silver Cross Medical Staff. Dr. Crossan attended medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood. He completed a radiation oncology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. Silver Cross Offers Health Education Classes in April
New Lenox, IL (March 21, 2013)— Silver Cross Hospital provides an AHA Healthcare Provider CPR class for LPNs, RNs, Paramedics, EMTs, and CNAs. This class teaches one and two person, infant, child and adult CPR as well as rescue from choking. The class will be held on Saturday, April 6, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Silver Cross Hospital, Pavilion A, Conference Center, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd., New Lenox. Girl Scouts Troup Delivers Blankets to Newborns at Silver Cross Hospital
New Lenox, IL (March 20, 2013) —Members from Girl Scouts Troup #359 in New Lenox, delivered handmade blankets to Silver Cross Hospital to be given to newborn babies born at the hospital’s Birthing Center. The Girl Scouts handmade the fleece blankets as part of their community service project. During this same visit, the girls also participated in a first aid class to learn the basics of providing initial care for an illness or injury.
