Silver Cross Offers Health Screenings in December

New Lenox, IL (Nov. 17, 2012)— Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. If you are not sure if you are at risk for heart disease, now is the time to find out with a Baseline Cardiac Risk Assessment held at Silver Cross Hospital, 1900 Silver Cross Blvd, New Lenox and Silver Cross Center for Women’s Health, 1870 Silver Cross Blvd., New Lenox.  This screening includes measurements of total cholesterol including HDL and LDL levels, blood glucose level, triglyceride level, blood pressure and body fat; 12-lead EKG, health and lifestyle evaluation, and a personal phone consultation with a registered cardiac nurse to review results and answer questions. Silver Cross Offers Support Groups in December

New Lenox, IL (Nov. 16, 2012)— Silver Cross Hospital in partnership with BMI Surgery hosts a free Bariatric Support Group for individuals who have undergone weight loss surgery. Silver Cross Home Health Ranked Among the Top 25% of Providers in the Country for the 5th Year in a Row

New Lenox, IL (Nov. 15, 2012)- Silver Cross Home Health announced that it has been named a Top Agency of the 2012 HomeCare Elite, a compilation of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. Area Diabetics Attended Free Event at Silver Cross Nov. 10

New Lenox, IL (November 14, 2012)-The Silver Cross Diabetes Center, one of the area’s first American Diabetes Association’s recognized quality comprehensive diabetes management program, welcomed 197 participants to the annual Diabetes Fall Festival on Saturday, November 10.
