New Phone Numbers for Silver Cross Hospital
Joliet, IL (Sept. 14, 2011)-- In preparation for the move to the replacement hospital next year, Silver Cross has replaced the 740 prefix for all phone and fax numbers with a new 300 prefix. Effective immediately, the hospital’s new main number is 1-815-300-1100. However for convenience, the old main number—1-815-740-1100 will remain operational for a few years after the hospital relocates to New Lenox on Feb. 26, 2012.

Joliet, IL (Sept. 12, 2011)— Diane Kemble of Shorewood is used to being on her feet. As a mother of four children and a full-time school teacher in Chicago, she spends most of her day standing. In the winter of 2010, while running to her car, Diane slipped on the ice and broke her right leg. While she did not seek immediate care, the growing dependency on her left leg was starting to affect her left knee. A year later, the knee pain became worse.
