Lincoln-Way Student Interns Raise Funds Benefitting Silver Cross
Joliet, IL (April 21, 2011)— Lincoln-Way East High School students along with Scott Fletcher, Dean of Students and teacher for the Human Anatomy & Physiology class at Lincoln-Way East, presented Larry Johnson, Vice President of Foundation at Silver Cross Hospital with a check for $385 from money the students raised during a raffle ticket drawing they held for Silver Cross Hospital. These funds will be placed in the Vera Smith Grant fund to be used for staff education.

Silver Cross Employees Raise Over $6,000 for Bowl for Kid’s Sake Campaign
Joliet, IL (April 20, 2011) — For the ninth consecutive year, 11 teams of employees from Silver Cross Hospital raised over $6,000 and participated in the Bowl for Kids Sake campaign, which is largest national fundraising campaign for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. Funds raised for this event will support programs to help kids in the Will and Grundy communities.
