Silver Cross Offers Health Education Classes in November
Joliet, IL (October 22, 2010)— Silver Cross Hospital is offering an AHA Healthcare Provider CPR class for LPNs, RNs, Paramedics, EMTs, and CNAs. This class teaches one and two person infant, child and adult CPR as well as rescue from choking. The class will be held on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Silver Cross Hospital, 1200 Maple Rd., Joliet. Cost is $60 and includes American Heart Association certification. Silver Cross Medical Staff Announces Medical Staff Appointments
Joliet, IL (October 22, 2010) — Charles C. MacDonald, M.D., neonatology-perinatology and board certified pediatrics physician, has joined the Silver Cross Medical Staff. Dr. MacDonald attended medical school at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN. He completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and a neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA. His office is located with Pediatric Faculty Foundation.

Joliet, IL (October 21, 2010) — Along with 2,000 men and women of all ages wearing a variety of pink apparel, the Silver Cross Center for Women’s Health employees participated in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at Centennial Park Soccer Field in Orland Park on October 17.
