New Silver Cross Portal Gives Patients 24/7 Access to Electronic Health Records

New Lenox, IL (March 4, 2014)—Silver Cross Hospital has launched a patient portal. The portal, called MYSilverCross, is a secure website that interfaces with the hospital’s electronic health record and provides patients 24-hour access to the following limited personal health information within 36 hours after discharge.

Silver Cross Hospital offers free breast cancer lecture on March 25

New Lenox, IL (March 10, 2014) — According to the American Cancer Society, in 2013 an estimated 232,340 new cases of invasive breast cancer was diagnosed among women, as well as an estimated 62,570 new cases of carcinoma in situ (CIS) will be diagnosed (CIS is non-invasive and is the earliest form of breast cancer). Silver Cross Hospital is offering a free lecture to teach how treatment of the disease has evolved over time.
