Joliet, IL (April 20, 2011) — For the ninth consecutive year, 11 teams of employees from Silver Cross Hospital raised over $6,000 and participated in the Bowl for Kids Sake campaign, which is largest national fundraising campaign for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. Funds raised for this event will support programs to help kids in the Will and Grundy communities.
“Each year we have so much fun participating in the Bowl for Kids Sake campaign and are proud to support such a valuable community program as Big Brothers Big Sisters,” said Colleen Juricic, Event Chairperson and Payroll Coordinator at Silver Cross Hospital. “I would like to thank everyone for bowling, raising money or just coming out to support our teams and this event. This was the largest attendance Silver Cross Hospital has ever had at this event,” said Juricic.
