Your Support
For over 25 years Remco Medical and Silver Cross hospital have been partners in
helping patients recover in the comfort of their own homes. You may have read
that we recently moved our retail home from the Westside Shopping Center to the
Bailey.s Carpet One Plaza on Theodore Street in Joliet. Like us, our friends at
Silver Cross have similar plans to move just three miles down the road in nearby
New Lenox. We both realize that as the community grows, we need to expand the
services that we offer in order to keep pace with the increasing demand.
In their new location, Silver Cross will have the wherewithal to offer its
patients—those who reside within the Joliet City limits as well as those in
other communities throughout Will County, the very best healthcare possible. In
a new facility, the nurses and doctors will be able to incorporate the most
advanced medical technology into everyday use.
As a Joliet resident, I can appreciate the painstaking effort that Silver Cross
has put forth in considering every option to stay in their current location, but
in my heart know that relocating is the best alternative for the entire Will
County area.
As a businessman, I understand that Silver Cross must plan for the future with
the most cost-efficient and sound decisions possible while considering what is
best for both patients and employees.
And, as a Silver Cross Foundation Board Member, I offer my support in moving
forward to do what is best for the entire community today, tomorrow and for many
years to come.
Sincerely,
George Block
President, Remco Medical, Inc.
