Silver Cross has always provided the highest quality of health care to all patients in the area. Throughout its 100-year history, Silver Cross has served our communities with charity care and multiple community health programs. At their new facility just a few short miles away from their current location, Silver Cross will be able to keep that commitment to the region's poor and uninsured in a modernized, high-tech hospital building. Silver Cross has further demonstrated their commitment with plans to maintain an urgent care center at the current site.

This proposed replacement hospital will be a tremendous asset to Will County and our entire region. With proposed extension of Gougar Road from Manhattan to New Lenox, the citizens of Manhattan will have direct access to the new facility.
