Your SupportAug. 3, 2007 We were thrilled to learn of Silver Cross Hospital’s plans to build a new facility just down the road in neighboring New Lenox. We have been blessed over the years to be able to support Silver Cross Hospital’s previous renovations—including the new, expanded emergency department, which has served over 45,000 patients since its opening last summer. And, we continue to support the hospital because we truly believe that Silver Cross has the best caregivers and the strongest commitment to serve the community of any hospital in the state. As lifelong Joliet residents, we know that this replacement hospital makes perfect sense, given the tremendous growth in all of Will County. If Silver Cross is to continue its strong mission of providing Top 100 Hospital care to all patients, they cannot keep adding onto the existing campus without creating further obstacles in years to come. As concerned citizens, we can’t let that happen. Silver Cross must move. We are happy to help in whatever way we can to make this a reality. Sincerely,
