The way you should be treated.™

In 2009, the Silver Cross Healthy Community Commission provided the Harvey Brooks Foundation with a grant to support quality of life programs. With the continued support of the Silver Cross Healthy Community Commission, the Foundation continues to invest in the lives of families in the community through the following programs.

In 2014, 6 participants obtained employment and completed over 117 jobs.

Camp Fitness is an after-school program that targets students in District 86. It promotes healthy nutrition, exercise and education among children.

Family Matters Program is designed to link families to needed resources such as the Job readiness apparel and accessory shop; life skills programs, which consists of smart banking, cooking, sewing;  the health and wellness nutrition program (Playground to Plate); and the Family Matters Parent Institute. Since 2012, over 50 families have participated in this free program.
