Outpatient Chemical Dependency Treatment Program
Behavioral Health/Chemical Dependency
The Silver Cross Hospital Outpatient Chemical Dependency Treatment Program offers the full spectrum of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Services including:
DUI Evaluations: To obtain significant and relevant information about the use of alcohol or drugs, to select an appropriate recommendation for the client to the circuit court of venue or the Office of the Secretary of State.
Risk Education (Minimal Risk): To provide educational information to the DUI offender regarding the effect of drugs on self and others.
For non-problematic individuals, the educational information is offered to heighten their awareness of their own activities in the hopes that this, along with completion of an Individual Action Plan, will act as a deterrent against future offenses.
For those individuals assessed as problematic users, the purpose of the series is to provide information that they can use to more closely examine their own use patterns and eventually, to make a determination as to whether or not they can safely use alcohol or other substances in the future.
Level II (Intensive Outpatient): See Chemical Dependency Services Program information.
