Founded in 1890, the Will County Union of Kings Daughters and Sons continues to support the dream and project started by a small group of local women over a century ago—to build Silver Cross Hospital. Today, the Union is comprised of 146 men and women in 9 circles.
Since 1895, the Will County Union of King’s Daughters and Sons has continued to support various hospital initiatives including the Silver Cross Renal Centers at the hospital, West Joliet and Morris. They recently contributed to the addition of 12 dialysis stations at Silver Cross Renal West located in the Silver Cross Professional Building, 1051 Essington Rd., Joliet. Silver Cross is the largest provider of dialysis services in Will and Grundy counties.
The Union’s largest fundraising event is the Silver Belles Bazaar, which raised $11,000. This year’s Bazaar will be held Saturday, Nov. 1 at the hospital, 1200 Maple Rd., Joliet.
