Our program is designed to maximize independence through patient and family education and to accentuate the functional ability and strengths of individuals impacted by a disabling illness or injury.

RIC at Silver Cross cares for adult patients who have had significant function loss and require daily physician oversight, intense therapy, and 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care due to

Care is provided on Silver Cross Hospital’s 5th Floor which includes:

Inpatient acute rehabilitation services are provided by licensed specialists under the coordination of a physician trained in rehabilitation. Each patient’s care is customized to fit their needs and care plans are developed with the input of the patient, family, physician, and rehabilitation team.
