outside of Silver Cross Hospital. Please choose from the items below for more
information:
Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan (CHIP)—A program for residents of Ilinois who, due to the existence or history of a medical condition, are unable to acquire coverage through private insurance, an HMO or an employer sponsored group health plan.
Kidcare—A state program that offers health care coverage to children, pregnant women and their babies or helps in paying premiums of employer or private health insurance plans.
Illinois Department of Insurance—This is the health area of the Illinois Department of Insurance. It contains a wealth of information on a variety of health insurance topics.
Illinois Rx Buying Club—A state discount drug card program for seniors and people with disabilities in Illinois.
Medicare—You may be eligible for Medicare. This link will provide you with the official eligibility criteria and application information for Medicare.
Medicaid—A jointly-funded state and federal government program that pays for medically necessary services for those who demonstrate need.
Rx Illinois SeniorCare—SeniorCare helps low-income seniors pay for most prescription drugs and many over-the-counter drugs if prescribed by their doctor.
Will-Grundy Medical Clinic—The Will Grundy Medical Clinic provides free medical and dental services to individuals who do not have health insurance or the ability to pay for quality health care.
Will County Community Health Center—Provides preventive and primary health services to the medically underserved people of Will County regardless of age, sex, color, and ability to pay.
