Chaplain Services

We welcome you and your family to visit our chapel, located on the first floor of the Francis Pavilion. Visitors of all faiths are welcome to visit the chapel for worship services, prayer and meditation.

A chaplain is also available for spiritual and emotional support of patients and their families. The chaplain can also assist you by contacting ministers from your home worship community upon request. Although we make every effort to see you while you are in the hospital, your nurse can arrange for a special visit when needed.

Gift Shop & Resale Shop

Childerguild Gift Shop

The Childerguild Gift Shop is conveniently located in the Smith Pavilion Lobby and includes balloons, cards, magazines, jewelry and lovely gift items for all ages. The hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Encore Resale Shop

The Encore Resale Shop is located on Walnut St., just North of the hospital's Emergency Department. The Advisory Board operates the shop. Items available include gently worn clothing, household items, and season and antique items. The hours are Tuesday and Friday, and the first Saturday of every month, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Proceeds from both shops benefit Silver Cross Hospital.

Language Services

Silver Cross Hospital provides 24-hour interpreter services for a variety of foreign languages. Please ask your nurse for assistance.

Physician Referrals

Free physician referrals are available by calling (888) 660-HEAL (4325) or by visiting www.silvercross.org. This service provides information on physicians including their training, certifications, office hours and location.

Security Services

Security Officers are on duty 24 hours a day for the safety of our patients, visitors and employees. You may see them routinely patrolling the hospital and parking areas. We ask that you please report suspicious activities or missing property and cooperate with security personnel when conducting inquiries.

Senior Advantage

The Silver Cross free Senior Advantage program helps you take care of the bills and the paperwork, so all you need to think about is the exceptional care you'll receive from us. As a member of this free program, you'll receive many privileges including discounts of meals, health education programs, special parking privileges, less paperwork, and assistance with bills for members with Medicare supplemental insurance.
