Each of our MedWorks facilities is fully equipped to evaluate and treat most injuries on the spot—from cuts to broken bones, then provide you with a complete written report on your employee’s work status immediately following his or her visit. This work status report includes diagnosis, test performed and ordered, medications prescribed, patient instructions, limitations and physician recommendations. Whenever possible, our physicians will recommend light duty to keep your valued employee functioning in some capacity at your workplace. Travel Medicine

MedWorks now offers travel medicine services for business and personal travel to foreign countries. We have recently become an authorized yellow fever vaccine center and are registered with the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Our staff of providers has the necessary expertise to act as a travel consultant by performing a health risk assessment to gather all the necessary details related to personal health and the countries that will be visited. Upon completion of the assessment immunization recommendations are made and can be performed immediately. Business travel to foreign countries creates the potential for exposure to food- and water-borne diseases that can result in serious illness, worker’s compensation claims and lost work time.

Health Professionals

With the most highly trained and certified staff in the area, our MedWorks team includes four occupational healthcare providers along with a staff of medical technicians and clerical support. Our experienced professionals have over 25 years of combined experience in occupational medicine and daily demonstrate their knowledge and skill providing the highest quality of medical services to the business community The MedWorks providers and staff are dedicated to developing a partnership with employers to assist them in achieving their company goals.
