Silver Cross Hospital offers a support group for parents who have experienced loss during pregnancy, at birth or shortly after, or from early Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Breastfeeding Support Group

The Silver Cross Birthing Center’s certified lactation consultants will host a free breastfeeding support group meeting on Monday, May 13 and 27, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Friday, May 17, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the hospital’s Conference Center, Pavilion A, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd., New Lenox. New mothers have many questions and concerns about breastfeeding in the weeks leading up to and after birth. The Breastfeeding Support Group is a way to exchange information and experiences. Stroke Support Group

Stroke survivor’s family members and caregivers are welcome to attend the Silver Cross Neuroscience Institute’s Stroke Support Group. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 22, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Silver Cross Hospital Conference Center, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd., New Lenox.
