Silver Cross Hospital Employee Accomplishments and Promotions
Joliet, IL (February 22, 2011) — Plainfield resident Courtney McKibben, R.N., M.S.N., has accepted the position of Trauma Center Program Coordinator. She has worked at Silver Cross Hospital for six years as an Emergency Department staff nurse, Emergency Department Clinical Educator, and co-chair of the Hospital’s Stroke Committee. Also, she brings to Silver Cross an additional 11 years of experience in oncology, intensive care, emergency and trauma nursing care.

Joliet, IL (Feb 18, 2011)—The drywall is up. The electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment have been installed. And several of the patient rooms already have a coat of paint. With 80% of the construction completed, plans are well underway to open the $400 million Silver Cross Replacement Hospital next year at I-355 and Route 6 in New Lenox. Patients will move in on Feb. 26, 2012.
