Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer

Peggy Gricus serves as the Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer of Silver Cross Hospital, a position she’s held since 2004.

Peggy joined Silver Cross in 1997 as the Director of Women’s and Children’s Services. In 2002, she was named Administrative Director of Nursing with oversight for eight clinical areas, including a 69-bed oncology/orthopedic/surgical/medical unit; labor and delivery; a Level 2 Special Care Nursery; post-partum and gynecology; pediatrics; medical/surgical; behavioral health; and chemical dependency.

In 2004, she was named Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer and oversees the hospital’s 860+ nurses, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, dialysis, chaplain services and the sleep lab.

Peggy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Olivet Nazarene University and a Master’s degree in hospital administration from the University of St. Francis.
