Diabetes is a silent disease that occurs when there is too much sugar in the bloodstream, and if left untreated can harm your eyes, heart, nerves and kidneys. To avoid such harm to your body, Silver Cross Hospital is offering a free lecture on how to have good health while living with diabetes.

Event Name: Medical-Surgical Certification Review Course
Dates and Times: March 20 and March 21, 2014, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Event Information: This two-day course is an overview of interventions that medical-surgical nurses use to promote quality of life for their clients. Using the nursing process to enhance physical and psychological well-being in clients and their significant others is inherent in the role of the medical-surgical nurse. Taking this course will provide those taking the medical-surgical certification exam with information necessary for success.

Who Should Enroll: This course is ideal for RN’s taking the medical-surgical certification exam, RN’s who are new to the specialty, those re-entering the field that desire a refresher course or transitioning from another area into medical-surgical nursing.
