MYSilverCross is your personal view into the Silver Cross Hospital electronic medical record used by your healthcare team to manage and document your care.

How will MYSilverCross benefit my health care?

MYSilverCross gives you direct online access to information in your electronic medical record (EMR). Your Silver Cross Hospital lab results, appointment information, medications, immunizations and discharge information are all securely stored for quick retrieval at any time. You can also print a health summary for your records.

Is MYSilverCross secure?

We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through your personal ID and passwords. MYSilverCross uses the latest encryption technology.

Who do I contact if I have questions regarding my electronic medical record?

Contact the Silver Cross Medical Records Department at (815) 300-7505. For questions regarding your plan of treatment, please call your doctor.

How do I sign up for MYSilverCross?

Patients can enroll in MYSilverCross while visiting Silver Cross Hospital. You will be asked if you would like to sign-up for MYSilverCross at registration. If you’re a maternity patient, you will be offered access at time of pre-registration.

What if I didn’t receive my invitation email?

Please check your spam or junk mail folders in your email account. If you still can’t find it, please call 1-877-621-8014 and ask them to verify your email address and resend the invitation.

Can I enroll my spouse, child or another family member in MYSilverCross?

Parents/legal guardians of children under 18 years of age can enroll for access to their child's account. Access will be automatically revoked when that child turns 18 years old in compliance with privacy regulations.

At 18, your child will be offered his/her own MYSilverCross access at the time of their next hospital or emergency registration. Silver Cross will only offer proxy to patients’ family members or legal guardians if specifically requested at the time of registration and with the patient’s consent.

Is a mobile version of MYSilverCross available?

Yes, there is a link to MYSilverCross available for mobile devices at www.silvercross.org.

What if I need technical help?

You may call the MYSilverCross support line at 1-877-621-8014, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Can I make online appointment requests or cancellation requests?

Yes. If you choose to request, change or cancel an appointment through MYSilverCross, a representative from Silver Cross Hospital will respond within one business day.

What lab results will be viewable in MYSilverCross?
Patients will have the ability to view all or components of the following lab profiles: CBC, blood type, CMP, BMP, TSH, T4, T3, lipid profile, UA, urine culture, Vitamin D, HgbA1c, and PSA.

When will I see my lab results?

Lab results are added to MYSilverCross 36 hours after results are entered into your electronic medical record.

Physicians on Silver Cross Hospital’s Medical Staff have expertise in their areas of practice to meet the needs of patients seeking their care. These physicians are independent practitioners on the Medical Staff and are not the agents or employees of Silver Cross Hospital. They treat patients based upon their independent medical judgment and they bill patients separately for their services.
